On-Call Armed Security Guard

P&P Security is seeking reliable and highly professional On-Call Armed Security Guards to join our growing team. This position is ideal for experienced officers who are flexible, dependable, and ready to respond to coverage needs as they arise. Responsibilities

• Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities.
• Respond promptly to disturbances and emergencies; assess situations and take appropriate action.
• Provide first aid and CPR as necessary while maintaining a calm demeanor during stressful situations.
• Document incidents accurately in reports for future reference.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when required
• Manage conflict situations effectively using conflict management techniques.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in security or law enforcement is preferred.
• Must have a valid Guard Card and Firearm Permit
• This is an on-call position, and availability needed on the following days and times:
• Monday through Thursday; between the hours of 10:00am-8:00pm
• Friday through Sunday; between 8:00am-8:00pm
• Proven experience in security roles or related fields is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention strategies.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse individuals.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure environments.
