Job Overview
P&P Security is seeking a reliable, professional, and highly observant Armed Security Guard to join our team. This position provides fixed shifts weekly and requires an officer who takes pride in maintaining safety, enforcing policies, and delivering exceptional customer service.
You will be responsible for protecting property, ensuring a safe environment for staff and customers, and responding professionally to any incidents that may arise.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong security presence at the assigned site
- Monitor entrances, exits, and overall property activity
- Enforce site rules and client policies
- De-escalate situations professionally and effectively
- Monitor and report suspicious behavior
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to oversee security operations
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying credentials
- Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and Incident Reports as needed
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining safety standards
- Respond to emergencies following company protocols
- Ensure compliance with P&P Security and BSIS regulations
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Valid California BSIS Guard Card (required)
- Valid California Exposed Firearm Permit (required)
- Must be 21 years old
- Reliable transportation to and from site
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Must be able to work the full listed schedule
- Prior armed security experience preferred, but not required
- Certification in first aid, CPR, and conflict management is preferred
