What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and/or escorting individuals as needed within the healthcare environment.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with all individuals encountered while on duty, maintaining a helpful and approachable demeanor.
• Complete required documentation and reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities as directed by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of vaccination is required for hospital assignments.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
