Duties
- Prepare vehicle surfaces meticulously through sanding, masking, and surface cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply primers, paints, coatings, and clear finishes using conventional spray guns or airless paint spraying equipment for smooth, even coverage.
- Conduct automotive buffing and polishing to achieve a high-gloss finish that enhances vehicle appearance.
- Maintain proper use of respiratory protection and adhere to safety protocols while handling paints and chemicals.
Qualifications
- Auto body shop experience with a strong background in auto painting and refinishing.
- Knowledge of automotive buffing, sanding, masking techniques, and surface preparation methods.
- Familiarity with automotive surface preparation standards and the use of automotive paints and coatings.
- The ability to communicate clearly about repair processes and timelines.
- Physical capability for lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing detailed manual work.
