  • Escalate recurring performance and disciplinary issues to ownership

Ownership retains authority over the master schedule, major personnel decisions, major purchasing decisions, company policies, and overall company direction.

Hands-On Field Leadership

This is a management-first position, but it is not a desk position.

The Field Manager should expect to spend significant time in the field observing crews, coaching employees, inspecting properties, demonstrating proper techniques, solving production problems, and reinforcing company procedures.

When necessary, the Field Manager must also be capable of temporarily running or working alongside a crew to maintain operations.

However, the Field Manager's primary responsibility is not to become another production employee.

The goal is to make the employees and crews underneath the Field Manager better.
