What You’ll Do:
We’re looking for a versatile Laser Operator/General Team Member to join our Neenah shop. In this dynamic role, you’ll operate a state-of-the-art laser cutting machine to produce precise metal parts while also pitching in on other shop tasks as needed. This is a hands-on job for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves learning, and enjoys being a key part of the team.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Set up and operate our fiber laser cutting machine to cut metal sheets and parts with accuracy.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical specs to ensure cuts meet exact standards.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues to keep production humming.
• Inspect finished parts for quality, ensuring they meet our high standards and tight tolerances.
• Assist with general shop tasks like material handling, grinding, deburring, or assembly as part of the team.
• Keep your workspace and equipment clean and organized, whether in our climate-controlled shop or on occasional job sites.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet deadlines and deliver outstanding results for our clients.
• Work safely at heights on ladders, scaffolds, or aerial lifts when required, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a motivated self-starter who’s comfortable working independently and eager to contribute to a variety of tasks. You don’t need to be a laser expert yet—we’ll train the right person—but a strong work ethic and attention to detail are a must. Specifically, you’ll need:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or certifications in CNC or laser operation are a bonus).
• 1 years of experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment (laser or CNC experience is a plus).
• Familiarity with tools like calipers, micrometers, or tape measures for quality checks.
• Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings (or a willingness to learn fast).
• Comfort with basic computer skills for operating laser software and entering job data.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work under deadlines.
• Flexibility to jump into general shop tasks like material prep or finishing when needed.
• Fearless when it comes to heights, with the ability to work safely and confidently in elevated settings on ladders, scaffolds, or aerial lifts.
• Professional attitude and clean appearance, especially when representing P&D on job sites.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to our Neenah shop (preferred).
