GENERAL DESCRIPTION (1-3 LINES DESCRIBING ROLE): |

|
A health teacher provides a developmentally appropriate educational program for students in middle school. The teacher is responsible for developing lesson plans and delivering instruction within established curriculum guidelines; adjusting curricula to adapt to children with disabilities or different physical abilities; collaborating with other teachers, professional staff, and administrators to improve instruction; and engaging parents/guardians in conversations with regard to instructional programs and student progress. |
