Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Job description:

Ozy’s Tavern is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and motivated Dishwasher to join our team. We are seeking someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized kitchen and understands that cleanliness and teamwork are essential to providing an exceptional guest experience.

Requirements

• Previous dishwasher preferred.
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and late-night shifts. Closing shifts may run until 12:00 AM–1:00 AM depending on business needs.
• Must be able to stand for 8 or more hours.
• Must be able to work efficiently in a hot, fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and maintain excellent attendance.
• Must be able to work independently while also functioning as part of a team.
• Must be able to accept constructive criticism, apply feedback provided by management, and continuously improve performance.
• Must maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance at all times.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Wash, rinse, sanitize, and properly store dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Operate and maintain the commercial dishwasher.
• Keep dishwashing and kitchen areas clean, organized, and sanitary throughout each shift.
• Sweep, scrub, and mop kitchen and storage floors.
• Clean and organize shelving, storage areas, walk-in coolers, and dry storage.
• Remove trash and recycling throughout the shift and at closing.
• Break down cardboard and dispose of waste properly.
• Restock clean dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen supplies.
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries when needed.
• Clean kitchen equipment, sinks, drains, mats, walls, and other work areas.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects as assigned.
• Help maintain compliance with all health and sanitation standards.
• Support kitchen staff with cleaning and organizational tasks throughout the shift.
• Assist the front-of-house team by bussing and cleaning tables when business demands require it.
• Complete all assigned opening, running, and closing side work.
• Perform additional cleaning or operational duties as assigned by management.
