Job Description
Local apparel company is looking for reliable, hardworking, and detailed oriented Shipping and Receiving Manager to oversee and manage all daily tasks applicable to the position. Ideal candidate has proven track record of working well with others and performs responsibilities in a timely manner. Must be self-motivated maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage all aspects of shipping/receiving dept
2. Accurately process shipments tied to purchase orders
3. Facilitate and manage all outbound shipments
4. Oversee and manage department’s part time staff
5. Help maintain and organize warehouse inventory
6. Work directly with production staff on order requirements
7. Perform many other warehouse needs as required daily
Requirements:
1. College degree or Highschool Diploma and/or multiple years working in shipping and receiving (retail or warehouse)
2. Ability to be trained to be proficient in warehouse inventory software (experience with Fishbowl Advanced Warehouse a plus)
3. Maintain a positive and encouraging attitude at all times
4. Familiar with UPS Worldship and Fedex Shipping Manager software
5. Excellent time management skills
6. Ability to adapt quickly to changing workloads and needs
7. Highly motivated to finish responsibilities in timely manner
8. Commitment to high work quality and standards
Compensation:
1. Fulltime salary
2. $2,800 Health insurance allotment
