Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, and management of materials, supplies and equipment.
- Receives and prepares incoming materials for input into inventory.
- Verifies the quantity and condition of materials.
- Loads/unloads boxes, pallets, etc. onto truck for delivery.
- Prepares records of goods shipped and received, maintains accurate inventory count and resolves discrepancies via appropriate computer program.
- Sorts and places materials on rack or shelves according to predetermined sequence.
- Assists in performing physical inventory to ensure adequate stocking levels.
- Utilizes appropriate method of identification for labeling materials; i.e. bar codes.
- May prepare parcels for mailing or pallets for outbound shipping.
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment in the warehouse and work area, which may include basic janitorial duties.
- Able to accommodate rushed and established Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Must have skills: - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Zero to one year of related experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to understand basic instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Basic reading, writing, and organizational skills.
- Computer experience in Word and Excel preferred.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
