Environmental Services Staff - Monett YMCA

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Under the direction and supervision of the Director, the Environmental Services Staff will attend to facility cleanliness and other services to assure a hospitable and friendly environment for Y members and program participants. This position is a part-time position working Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays for 3-4 hours.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.    Be knowledgeable and adhere to Safety Policies, Procedures and Emergency Response Plans. Always keeping Safety at the forefront of your mind.

2.    General cleaning and care of the facility including all offices, studios, workout areas and locker rooms, restrooms, etc.  (Includes dusting, scrubbing, waxing, polishing, etc.)

3.    Replenish supplies daily.

4.    Follow a daily, weekly, and monthly check-off lists to maintain facility appearance.

5.    Record unusual events or occurrences and/or inform responsible person(s) as instructed.
