Position Overview
The Nurse Practitioner will play a key role in the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with a wide range of vascular conditions, including peripheral artery disease (PAD), aneurysms, and carotid and venous disorders.
This role spans the full continuum of care- from initial consultation through in-office procedures and post-procedural follow-up -and includes close collaboration with the surgeon in both clinic and in our office-based lab (OBL) procedural environment. In addition, the Nurse Practitioner will participate in hospital consultations, patient rounding and discharge care.

Key Responsibilities
Patient Evaluation & Clinical Decision-Making
- Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations focused on vascular health
- Evaluate and manage patients with arterial and venous disease
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and diagnostic data
- Order and review diagnostic studies
- Conduct pre-procedure evaluations and optimize patients for intervention
- Partner with the surgeon in procedural planning and coordination
- Provide post-procedure follow-up, including wound care and complication management
- Monitor patient recovery and adjust care plans to ensure optimal outcomes
- Perform minor in-office procedures (e.g., wound care, suture removal, basic interventions)
- Assist with vascular procedures as needed within the office-based lab setting
- Prescribe and manage medications related to vascular conditions
- Monitor chronic & acute conditions and disease progression
- Ensure continuity of care through appropriate follow-up and care coordination
- Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications
- Provide clear post-procedure instructions and set expectations for recovery
- Contribute to a high-touch, service-oriented patient experience
- Work closely with Dr. Stout and the clinical team to deliver seamless care
- Coordinate with physician liaisons, referring providers and internal team members
- Contribute to clinic efficiency and patient flow
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (APRN) with active state licensure
- Two year nursing experience in vascular, surgical, cardiovascular, emergency or related specialty required
- Experience in or exposure to procedural environments or office-based labs (OBL), preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
