Ozark Opportunities, Inc. is seeking a motivated professional that is passionate about early childhood education. 

The EHS Center Supervisor role provides a positive, safe, and supervised educational setting that promotes the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of children enrolled in Early Head Start.



This position requires the following education;

Highschool Diploma or equivalent plus 8 years of direct experience, plus CDA within 2 years of hire, OR

Associate's degree in early childhood education, child development, or a related field plus 6 years of experience in early childhood education, OR

Bachelor's Degree plus CDA or 4 years of experience in early childhood education.



This role also requires the following certifications; CDA (Child Development Associate) credential and CPR certification. SERVsafe certification required to obtained within the first year of hire, Ozark Opportunities, Inc. provides this training to the employee. 


This position would start in August at the beginning of the 26-27 school year. This position is 10 months in a year, furloughed during Spring Break week, summer break, Thanksgiving break, and Christmas break. Furloughed employees are able and encouraged to draw unemployment during these times.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Supervises classroom staff, assisting education coordinator for the development and implementation of age-appropriate lesson
  • Collaborate with the ECE Regional Manager and Licensing & Facilities Supervisor to ensure Arkansas Minimum Licensing Requirements are met for assigned center.
  • Collaborate with the Family Services Supervisor to ensure the Family Development component is met through the engaging of parents of each student to assess needs, set goals, and monitor progress. Recruits’ volunteers and assists with in-kind.
  • Collaborate with the Family Services Supervisor to ensure ERSEA compliance is met through enrollment of funding slots, recruitment of new families, selection participation, approving eligibility, and attendance monitoring and
  • Collaborate with the Practice Based Coach for the provision of support and training to staff.
  • Provides time/space to complete CDA assignments and testing to staff.
  • Provides support, new-hire training, hiring, and bi-annual evaluation of
  • Provides home
  • Ensures IDEA and ADA standards and rights are
  • Provides referral coordination of child and family
  • Assists Nutrition Specialist in compliance with CACFP and USDA
  • Assists with the provision of classroom observations and health
  • May act as a substitute as needs
  • Other duties as


We expect qualified candidates to have experience in a teaching environment or with low-income families, good communication skills, verbal and written, basic knowledge of computer operation and software. They must have an active and unhindered Driver's License with personal reliable transportation. Successfully pass Criminal Background including FBI fingerprint and Child Maltreatment checks.


Physical Requirements: Frequent lifting (able to lift up to 50lbs.), bending, stooping movements within the classroom. Agility to move around classroom furniture and materials. Occasional driving to trainings. 


Salary : $18 - $22
