Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, floor care, carpet cleaning, and surface sanitation to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Manage laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently.
- Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting and outdoor work to maintain property exterior areas.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, supplies usage, and safety protocols to ensure compliance with health standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and provide personalized housekeeping services.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety guidelines related to custodial work.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential housekeeping or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures.
- Familiarity with various cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, dusting, and surface sanitation.
- Experience handling cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and specialized equipment such as vacuum cleaners and floor buffers.
- Knowledge of manual handling practices for heavy lifting and outdoor work safety measures.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their preferences and requirements.
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required.
