What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Practical Nurse position at Ozark Family Medical Clinic, LLC?
We are looking for an experienced LPN to work under supervision of our healthcare providers in a Rural Health Clinic setting. LPN professionals must be first and foremost qualified, compassionate and a team player.
Responsibilities
- Delivering direct patient care to patients as assigned, using established procedures
- Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records on medical information, vital signs, or changes in patient’s conditions
- Monitor patients' medication usage and results
- Document patients' medical and psychological histories, physical assessment results, diagnoses, treatment plans, prescriptions, or outcomes
- Evaluate patients' behavior to formulate diagnoses or assess treatments
- Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans
- Provide personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to patients
- Assist with or instituting emergency measures for sudden adverse developments during treatment
- Administering injections and medication
- Help with front desk registration and scheduling when needed
Skills
- Proven experience as LPN
- Familiarity with hospital health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
- Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
- Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and able to handle stress
- Successful completion of LPN license program is a must
