We're a small manufacturing company in Attica, Indiana, that makes high-end EDC gear. We're passionate about American manufacturing and recently expanded into a new, larger facility! We're seeking a dedicated and passionate Administrative Professional with expertise in Human Resources and Customer Service to join our tight-knit team and help us grow our company. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, training and expertise in Human Resources, and experience in office administration.
Responsibilities
- Manage human resources responsibilities such as recruitment, interviewing, employee paperwork, safety training, and compliance.
- Maintain confidentiality in the workplace to protect sensitive information with professionalism.
- Assist in creating, enforcing, and maintaining company polices.
- Assist in customer service by promptly addressing inquiries via email, finalizing online orders, and creating shipping labels.
- Handle clerical duties such as maintaining files and logging data.
- Assist in coordinating and managing company events.
- Assist the General Manager with administrative projects.
Required Training and Skills
- Schooling and experience in Human Resources
- Extensive knowledge of employer responsibilities and OSHA regulations
- Administrative experience and aptitude
- Exceptional email etiquette
- Strong interpersonal and social skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace.
- Organizational skills
- Attention to detail for proofreading documents and maintaining accurate records
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
