About the Role

We’re hiring a Kitchen Manager for Sally’s Apizza in Norwalk, Connecticut. This is a great fit for a hands-on culinary leader who thrives in high-volume kitchens, enjoys developing teams and takes pride in maintaining exceptional food quality and operational standards.


What You’ll Do

  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations and back-of-house performance
  • Train, mentor and develop kitchen staff and future culinary leaders
  • Maintain food quality, presentation and recipe consistency
  • Manage food ordering, inventory and cost controls
  • Conduct line checks and ensure prep procedures meet company standards
  • Enforce food safety, sanitation and cleanliness procedures
  • Collaborate on recipe development, systems and kitchen processes
  • Monitor product rotation and storage to reduce waste and spoilage
  • Support scheduling and kitchen staffing needs
  • Communicate effectively with managers and kitchen staff during service


What We’re Looking For

  • 2–3 years of kitchen leadership experience in a full-service restaurant
  • Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation and kitchen systems
  • Experience with food costing, labor analysis and inventory management
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environments
  • ServeSafe Certification required
  • Basic Spanish preferred but not required
  • Culinary training or culinary degree preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.
