We have been engaged by the VP of Tax of a large distribution and manufacturing company to help identify a key member of their tax department. This Senior Indirect Tax Manager will oversee a group of indirect tax professionals responsible for compliance, research and planning and audit management. What You'll Do
- Build and mentor a team of tax professionals handling complex compliance and advisory work
- Own indirect tax strategy—from process design to technical problem-solving
- Drive automation, control improvements, and operational scalability
- Partner with Finance and IT to modernize systems and workflows
- Lead defensible tax positions through risk identification, research, and documentation
What We Need
- 8 years indirect tax experience (progressive roles)
- 3–5 years leading teams
- CPA or equivalent expertise a plus
- Deep knowledge of tax engines, ERP systems, and data automation (Vertex, SAP, Alteryx, Power BI, etc.)
- SOX and tax research platform experience a plus

Salary : $125,000 - $140,000
