Duties
- Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver products to customers across designated routes
- Load and unload goods using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring proper handling of heavy items
- Navigate route driving efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting clients warmly, answering questions, and addressing concerns during deliveries
- Verify delivery details, obtain signatures, and complete all necessary documentation accurately
- Assist with warehouse tasks including moving inventory, organizing shipments, and maintaining a clean work environment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred
- Prior delivery driver experience or courier background is highly desirable
- Ability to operate box trucks with manual transmission safely and confidently
- Experience with load & unload procedures, heavy lifting, moving items, and using forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Knowledge of route driving, navigation tools, and traffic laws necessary for efficient deliveries
- Physical ability to lift heavy packages repeatedly throughout the shift; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
