What are the responsibilities and job description for the Package Delivery Driver position at Sweet Delivery Service?
Come join one of the top performing DSP's in Wallingford, CT! Sweet Delivery Service LLC, a Delivery Service Partner, is looking for FT and PT drivers. We are seeking reliable, punctual and responsible delivery associates to distribute products to customers in a timely manner using a company provided cargo van.
- Starting at $22.25 per hour
- No CDL or prior experience required
- No Marijuana/THC Testing
- Shift is approximately 8-10 hours a day
- Shift Start time: 10am
Requirements
MUST BE 21
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK A SATURDAY OR SUNDAY EVERY WEEKEND
- Drivers license for a minimum of 1 year
- Ability to lift a max of 50lbs
- Clean driving record with no traffic violations
- Reliable transportation (OWN VEHICHLE IS A MUST) to and from work
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a cargo van to deliver packages to customers
- Work in all weather conditions
- Lift and move packages of up to 50lbs
- Operate GPS and smartphone applications
- Comply with all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized cargo van
- Meet or exceed our performance standards
- Able to get in and out of van and walk up and down stairs throughout your shift
- Must be physically able to handle fast-paced walking, lifting, bending and stooping
- Help other drivers as directed, being a team player
