Now Hiring: Housekeeper
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces throughout the facility.
- Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and office spaces according to established protocols and schedules.
- Restock housekeeping supplies and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies are available at all times.
- Dispose of trash and hazardous materials in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Follow safety guidelines and infection control practices to prevent the spread of germs and maintain a hygienic environment.
- Collaborate with other staff members to address any maintenance or housekeeping-related issues that arise.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of residents and staff at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles preferred
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards individuals from diverse backgrounds, including the homeless population.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment commonly used in healthcare or hospitality settings
- Ability to work independently and efficiently while adhering to established cleaning schedules and standards
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed
