Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Paraplanner located in Orlando, FL. The paraplanner will assist with the preperation of financial plans, analyze client data, provide insights on investment options, and draft reports for client consultations. This role involves collaboration with financial advisors to support the delivery of comprehensive financial solutions tailored to clients' needs.
As an Enrolled Agent (EA), the Paraplanner will also incorporate tax planning considerations into the financial planning process by reviewing tax returns, analyzing tax-related financial data, identifying tax-saving opportunities, and helping advisors develop strategies designed to improve clients' overall financial outcomes. The ideal candidate combines strong financial planning knowledge with tax expertise to support holistic wealth management and retirement planning services.
Qualifications
- Must hold an active Enrolled Agent (EA) designation and be in good standing with the IRS
- Strong background in FInancial Planning, Finance, and Tax Planning
- Proficient analytical skills for data review and decision-making
- Knowledge of investments and their application in client portfolios
- Experience reviewing individual and business tax returns
- Experience in report writing to clearly communicate financial and tax strategies
- Ability to identify tax planning opportunities and integrate them into financial recommendations
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with financial advisors and clients
