What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Assistant position at Ox Industries?
The Human Resource Admin. will assist the Human Resource Manager with daily HR functions and possess the following skills and qualifications listed below but not limited to:
- Knowledge of administrative tasks and responsibilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking
- Strong empathy and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Assist with new hire screening/recruiting for hourly and salary
- Conduct New Hire Orientations
- Attendance and Disciplinary Tracking
- Maintain current and new hire files
- Assist with company functions (organize lunches, assist with company picnic, etc.)
- Prior experience/knowledge in Human Resources
- Ability to maintain an high level of confidentiality
- Ability to fill in for the HR Manager if needed to answer hourly and salary questions and concerns
- Position will start out part-time with the ability to go full time
- 2-3 days a week (working hours are flexible)
- Compensation range is $20-$22/hr. depending on experience
