Job Description:
Provide comprehensive HR support in a heavy manufacturing environment, including employee relations and engagement, HRIS data management, benefits administration, and maintenance of employee records. Assist with implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining elements: employee records in accordance with corporate standards
- Ensuring compliance with local and corporate HR policies and procedures
- Serve as a point of contact to employees for all HR related topics
- Process employee payroll
- Timely submission of forms and documents to corporate HR
- Process all employees leave paperwork
- Administer employee benefit plans
- Conduct candidate interviews and hiring process
- Process company responses to unemployment claims
- Interpret and advise employees on company policies
- Special projects and event planning
- High School Diploma required
- 3-5 years as an HR professional in a heavy manufacturing environment
- Ability to create and present information to a large group
- Experience in Kronos and HRIS
- Knowledge of laws regarding employment law, employee benefits, leave and accommodations
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing priorities
Salary : $25 - $32
