Job Summary
Owl Roofing is hiring a Roofing Sales Representative to help homeowners make confident decisions after storms, wear-and-tear, and unexpected roof issues. This role blends outside sales, education, and relationship-building. You’ll meet homeowners, inspect roofs, explain options clearly, and guide projects from first conversation through signed agreement.
This is a field-based role for someone who likes autonomy, momentum, and real conversations. You’ll work with warm leads, self-generated opportunities, and a support team that helps you close deals the right way. What You’ll Do
- Meet homeowners for scheduled appointments and self-generated opportunities
- Perform roof inspections and document findings clearly and accurately
- Explain roofing systems, repair vs. replacement options, and timelines in plain language
- Build trust through clear communication and follow-up
- Manage your pipeline using CRM tools to track leads, notes, and next steps
- Prepare estimates and review pricing with homeowners
- Work closely with project management and production teams to ensure smooth handoffs
- Represent Owl Roofing professionally in neighborhoods, at job sites, and in the community
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in outside sales, home services, construction, or a related field
- Comfort meeting homeowners face-to-face and guiding buying decisions
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical information simply
- Organized, self-directed, and consistent with follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple appointments and active opportunities
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Roofing or insurance claim experience is helpful, but not required
