The Beverage Server is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service to guests in a friendly, professional, and timely manner within a gaming facility. This role requires thorough knowledge of beverage offerings, compliance with alcohol service and safety regulations, and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment for all guests.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

- Take beverage orders from guests in assigned areas and deliver drinks promptly and accurately.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages; offer recommendations to guests.
- Ensure all beverages are prepared and served according to established procedures and presentation standards.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption in compliance with local, state, and facility regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including removal of used glasses, napkins, and other materials.
- Interact positively and professionally with guests to enhance their experience and resolve any concerns.
- Accurately process payments via cash, credit card, or player rewards systems.
- Assist with restocking and inventory maintenance for bar areas.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, especially regarding the handling and storage of beverages.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deliver efficient, friendly, and attentive guest service.
- Must be available to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
- Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a gaming facility or hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of state and local alcohol service laws and guidelines.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license and alcohol service permit as required by the state of Kentucky.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and carry trays or beverages for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Exposure to a noisy, fast-paced environment typical of a gaming facility.
- May be required to work in smoking and non-smoking areas.
