- Provides developmentally appropriate care and education to children (up to five years old) in learning activities designed to promote emotional, social, physical, spiritual, and intellectual growth needed for primary school.
- Plans and organizes classroom activities.
- Plans and implements engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with early childhood best practices and school curriculum.
- Observes and assesses student development and communicates progress with parents/guardians.
- Integrate Catholic values, traditions, and teachings into daily classroom activities.
- Maintains classroom structure, routines, and positive behavior expectations.
- Collaborates with school staff, administration, and families to support student success.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field required.
- Prior experience working with preschool-aged children preferred.
- Practicing Catholic preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25–40 pounds.
- Ability to actively engage with young children (sitting, standing, kneeling, and playing).
