- Assists the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Supports children in learning through play, structured activities, and guided instruction.
- Helps maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
- Supervises students during classroom time, recess, lunch, and transitions.
- Provides individual or small-group support to students as directed by the teacher.
- Reinforces classroom routines, expectations, and positive behavior.
- Helps with basic care needs such as snack time, restroom routines, and hygiene.
- Observes student behavior and reports concerns or progress to the lead teacher.
- Supports arrival and dismissal procedures.
- Experience working with young children is preferred.
- Basic understanding of child development and appropriate classroom practices.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow directions and take initiative when needed.
- Ability to lift up to 25–40 pounds.
- Ability to actively engage with children (sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, playing).
- Ability to supervise children in both indoor and outdoor settings.
