Job Title: Interiors Project Manager (Drywall & Framing)

Reports To: Director of Interiors / Senior Project Manager
Compensation: $110,000 - $140,000
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Interiors Project Manager with strong experience in drywall and framing to oversee and manage interior construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled at coordinating field and office operations to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution
- Oversee all phases of interior construction projects, with a focus on drywall and metal stud framing.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Review plans, specifications, and scopes of work to ensure accurate execution in the field.
- Team & Subcontractor Management
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, field personnel, and material deliveries.
- Conduct regular site meetings with stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress.
- Ensure all work adheres to code, safety standards, and project specifications.
- Quality Control & Problem Solving
- Monitor construction quality and proactively address issues or discrepancies.
- Conduct inspections, punch lists, and coordinate project closeout procedures.
- Client & Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, architects, and consultants.
- Provide regular updates and reports to clients and internal leadership.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily logs.
- Assist in cost tracking and forecasting with project accounting team.
Qualifications
- 5 years of project management experience in commercial interiors or fit-outs.
- Strong background in drywall systems, metal stud framing, and ceiling installation.
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications.
- Proficiency in construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, AutoCAD).
- OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not required.
