Role
We’re hiring a full-time Coil‑Feed High‑Speed Stamping Press Technician in Mooresville, IN. You’ll keep our coil-fed stamping lines running safely and accurately while documenting production with precision.
A day in this role
Start your shift by reviewing dimensional prints and job travelers. With PPE on, you stage and load coiled steel using an overhead crane, set up the high-speed press, and monitor output. Throughout the run, you check parts with micrometers, calipers, and gauges, adjust to spec, and capture production counts, inventory movements, and order-specific notes across multiple charts. You’ll close the day by verifying documentation and supporting adjacent production tasks as needed.
What you’ll do
- Operate high‑speed stamping presses safely, consistently, and efficiently
- Load/unload coiled steel using overhead cranes per safety protocols
- Measure parts with micrometers, calipers, and related gauges to verify accuracy
- Record production data, inventory logs, and order documentation across multiple charts
- Read and interpret dimensional part prints and follow specifications precisely
- Follow PPE standards: ear protection, safety glasses, and approved safety gloves
- Show initiative and a strong will to learn; assist with other production tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: At least 1 year in manufacturing and 1 year operating stamping presses
- Physical requirements: Stand for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs; perform repetitive tasks
- Certifications: Forklift certification or relevant credentials are a plus
Work environment
- Manufacturing floor with machinery, noise, and exposure to metalworking fluids
