Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and reliable Farm Market Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in stocking the stand, ensuring the freshness and quality of the produce, maintaining cleanliness, operating the cash register, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock produce and other items at the market stand, ensuring freshness and quality at all times
- Regularly check the quality of fruits, vegetables, and other products, removing any that are damaged or not up to standard
- Ensure the stand is clean, organized, and visually appealing
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Assist customers with their purchases and provide information about products
- Address customer inquiries and ensure a positive shopping experience
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift 50lbs
- Attention to detail, especially in maintaining product quality, and a team player attitude
