Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Store Manager role at Overland Sheepskin Co.’s Rapid City, SD location. The Store Manager will lead day-to-day operations of the store, including overseeing staff, managing inventory, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include driving sales, maintaining high customer satisfaction, implementing retail loss prevention strategies, and fostering a positive working environment for team members.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Store Management with a focus on achieving sales goals and managing operational tasks
- Strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with a dedication to providing an exceptional shopping experience
- Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, to manage team interactions and customer relations
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to ensure store security and minimize shrinkage
- Leadership and organizational abilities to guide and develop a team effectively
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous experience in specialty or luxury retail is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
