What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Scanner Operator - 4 Month Project position at Overland Printing?
Overland Printing, a 40-year Phoenix printing and scanning company, is staffing a large confidential legal-records digitization project running approximately August through early December 2026.
What you'll do: operate high-speed Canon production document scanners; check boxes in and out of our tracking system; perform light document prep; monitor image quality on-screen and correct misfeeds in real time; name files according to a defined scheme; repack boxes when complete.
What we're looking for: reliable, mechanically comfortable, attentive to a screen for long stretches; light lifting (30 lb boxes); scanner, copier, or print-production experience a plus - we train the right person.
Requirements: background check, E-Verify employment eligibility, and a signed confidentiality agreement (records are sensitive legal files).
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shift. A completion bonus is paid for staying through project end.
This is a temporary, project-based position expected to last approximately four months. The expected duration is an estimate, not a guarantee - employment is at-will and may end earlier or be extended as project needs change. Strong performers may be considered for future projects or print-shop roles.
Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
Salary : $18 - $19
