What are the responsibilities and job description for the Document Quality Control Specialist - Temporary Project (~4 Months) position at Overland Printing?
Overland Printing, a 40-year Phoenix printing and scanning company, is staffing a large confidential legal-records digitization project. The Document Quality Control Specialist is the final check on every scanned file before it ships — a detail person's job.
What you'll do: verify scanned PDF files page-by-page against original paper records; reconcile page counts and investigate discrepancies; flag and route rescans and verify corrections; audit file naming and folder structure; sign off completed boxes for repacking; verify final files copied to delivery drives.
What we're looking for: exceptional attention to detail; comfortable working on a computer all day (PDF viewers, spreadsheets); dependable attendance; able to follow a written checklist precisely for a full shift. Prior QA, proofreading, paralegal, records, or bookkeeping experience is a plus — not required.
Requirements: background check, E-Verify employment eligibility, and a signed confidentiality agreement (records are sensitive legal files).
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shift, approximately August through early December 2026. A completion bonus is paid for staying through project end.
This is a temporary, project-based position expected to last approximately four months. The expected duration is an estimate, not a guarantee — employment is at-will and may end earlier or be extended as project needs change. Strong performers may be considered for future projects or print-shop roles.
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
