We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Stocker / Merchandiser to join our team! In this vital role, you will ensure our shelves are fully stocked, well-organized, and visually appealing to enhance the shopping experience. Responsibilities
- Stock shelves with grocery items, produce, and other merchandise efficiently and accurately
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks safely to load and unload shipments
- Manage inventory control by tracking stock levels using RF scanners and maintaining accurate records
- Assist in shipping & receiving processes by loading, unloading, and organizing deliveries
- Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse and sales floor to ensure a safe shopping environment
- Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively, following the F.I.F.O. (First In First Out) process and ensuring products have proper signage
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with product location and inquiries
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience or retail store experience preferred
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and RF scanners is a plus
- Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous
- Capable of heavy lifting of products up to 50lb and manual handling following safe lifting practices
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and transaction processing
- Knowledge of grocery store operations, produce handling, packaging, and merchandising is beneficial
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while managing multiple tasks
- Candidates must be 18 years of age or older in order to operate warehouse equipment
Availability
- Candidates must have day availability as early as 7 a.m. and evening availability as late as 10:15 p.m.
- Candidates must have weekend availability including Sunday's
