About the Role
The Sales Director is responsible for selling women’s and men’s Team Apparel lines including WEAR by Erin Andrews, and Darius Rucker for NFL. Team apparel lines cover NFL, NBA, NHL, and NCAA. Customers include Fanatics, Kohls, Lids, Team Stadium Stores, Barnes & Nobles on campus bookstores. This individual will develop and maintain strong relationships with wholesale clients. This role involves managing existing accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction while achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate should have a passion for fashion, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
How You’ll Contribute
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned wholesale accounts.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, including department stores.
- Regularly communicate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and any upcoming trends.
Sales and Business Development:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential wholesale clients.
- Present product lines to clients, including seasonal collections, ensuring alignment with their business needs.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close sales.
Account Management:
- Manage day-to-day operations related to order placement, tracking, and fulfillment.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as design, production, and logistics to ensure timely product delivery.
- Resolve any issues or concerns related to orders, payments, or product quality.
- Prepare sales reports, analyze data, and forecast sales trends for existing accounts.
Market Research & Trend Analysis:
- Stay updated on current fashion trends, market demands, and competitor activities.
- Provide insights and recommendations to clients on emerging fashion trends and product offerings.
Trade Shows and Events:
- Represent the company at industry trade shows, events, and meetings with key clients.
- Organize and participate in client meetings, presentations, and showroom appointments to showcase new collections.
What You Bring to the Team
- Experienced manager – must be able to effectively manage other team members (full time direct reports external sales reps)
- Experienced seller – able to negotiate and close deals with key buyers
- Minimum 5-years in wholesale sales role
- Strong client relationship skills
- Strategic thinker that can identify opportunities and drive growth in all brands
- Strong experience with one or more of the following accounts – Kohls, JCP, Fanatics, Target
- Able to manage portfolio of multiple brands – Ladies & Mens
- Must be able to travel domestically during sales campaigns (Spring & Fall) to meet with key accounts.
- General knowledge of professional sports recommended
- Prior experience in pro team or college licensed merchandise a plus
- Extremely organized and detail oriented
- Fluent in ms excel

Salary : $150,000 - $165,000
