What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Service Representative (CSR) position at Ovation Workplace Services Inc?
Act as liaison between IT and employees and perform administrative and coordination tasks related to Desk-side Services, such as -
• Follow the process defined in the ITSM tool service catalogue to initiate process to procure standard hardware, software, and peripherals
• Coordinate the installation of replacement and/or new computers, software, and peripherals with PC Vendor, Network Services, etc.
• Coordinate client technology requirements (e.g., IT Service requests, review PC requirements with manager, etc.)
• Coordinate and track technology assets via IT Asset Inventory Program. Provide daily updates in IT Asset Management system
• Coordinate the replacement of computers and peripherals to coincide with warranty expiration dates
• Investigate computers not utilized in the last thirty-five (35) days and remove them from service or "power on" to receive updates
• Coordinate testing departmental software with the Integration Lab
• Create awareness of IT standards and policies
• Collaborate with Facilities and PC Vendor with departmental moves
• Analyse and approve requests for desktop admin rights
• Analyse and remove unapproved instances of desktop admin rights
• Participate in enterprise-wide technology efforts
