Laundry Aide
Shift: AM
Location: Ovation Communities — Jewish Home & Care Center
Ovation Communities is seeking a Laundry Aide to provide maintenance to all linens and Clothing for residents. The Laundry Aide will down dirty laundry and return clean laundry folded and ironed if needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- The laundry worker will bring residents laundry down the laundry room. Wash and dry iron and fold laundry and return to the apartment.
- Some residents will require changing of bed linen in the apartment.
- Gather soiled linens to prepare for sorting and pretreatment of stains
- Load and unload washers and dryers.
- Iron personal garments and linens as needed
- Assists in emergency laundering needs upon request.

Qualifications:Experience:
One year of supervised food service experience in a skilled nursing facility, retirement facility, or residential service is preferred.
Prior experience in commercial and/or residential cleaning is favorable, but not necessary.
Prior experience in commercial and/or residential laundry is favorable, but not necessary.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Other:
Must maintain complete confidentiality and discretion.
Read, write and speak the English language.
