About the Role
We're seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pizza Dough Maker to join our team on a part-time basis. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with artisan dough, takes pride in consistency, and understands the importance of maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough for 48-hour fermentation according to established recipes and procedures
- Feed, maintain, and monitor the sourdough starter to ensure quality and consistency
- Portion and ball dough for daily production needs
- Prepare focaccia dough and refrigerate for proper proofing and flavor development
- Complete daily food preparation tasks to support kitchen operations
- Fire the pizza oven upon arrival to ensure optimal baking conditions for service
- Receive, inspect, and properly store food deliveries and shipments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace at all times
- Complete end-of-shift cleaning duties and ensure the kitchen is left in excellent condition
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with pizza dough, bread dough, or bakery production preferred
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent product quality
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move food products and ingredients as needed
- Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
