Location: We are located in Ligonier, PA just outside of Greensburg, PA
Job Type: Part-time
Requirements:
· Minimum of 21 years of age
· Ability to pass PA State Criminal Check (ACT 34)
· Ability to pass PA Child Abuse Clearance (ACT 33)
·Ability to pass FBI Clearance (ACT 114)
· Clean National Sex Offender Registry Report
· Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
· Pass a physical and drug screening
· High School Diploma or equivalent required
Duties include but are not limited to:
· Provide instruction in transitional and vocational skills to support student independence, employability, and daily living skills.
· Develop and implement hands-on instruction related to small engine repair, tool identification, equipment maintenance, and workplace safety.
· Teach students basic mechanical skills including diagnosing common issues, preventative maintenance, and proper use of hand and power tools.
· Provide instruction on safety procedures related to shop environments, equipment operation, and tool handling.
· Model and reinforce workplace readiness skills including teamwork, communication, punctuality, problem-solving, and professionalism.
· Supervise students during shop-based instruction and ensure a safe and organized learning environment.
· Assist students in developing practical job skills applicable to entry-level positions in maintenance, landscaping, mechanics, or trades-related fields.
· Collaborate with instructional staff, supervisors, and related service providers to support student success and individualized goals.
· Maintain shop equipment, tools, instructional materials, and inventory in a safe and organized manner.
· Assist students with community-based vocational experiences and career exploration opportunities when applicable.

Pay: $37,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
