Barista

Requirements:

• Must be 18 or older by time of start date.
• Must be comfortable to self start and stay on task.
• Reliable transportation to ensure timely arrival.
• Minimal upcoming time off as we value reliability!
• Must be available to work afternoon shifts, and open to covering when needed! This includes weekends :-)
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently.
• Reliable and committed to shifts, willing to fill in where needed.
• Confident in self to keep up on tasks, stay up to date on inventory and to drive daily sales goals.
• Available for occasional team meetings to go over team goals, upcoming promotions including new product releases, and to go over skills.

• Note that pay range is including take home and credit card tips, individual pay may vary above or below depending on the day!
• Base pay for this position starts at $9/hr with opportunities to grow after 60 day probationary term - based off performance, sales and willingness and availability to cover shifts. After 60 day probationary term, candidate will be eligible to receive a performance review. Growth thereafter is dependent on continued performance and future promotions within the company.

Responsibilities
- Utilize coffee experience to prepare and serve high-quality beverages to customers.
- Operate POS system efficiently to process orders and handle transactions accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing their needs.
- Adhere to food safety protocols to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow and uphold service standards.

- Opening shifts are only offered to those with at least 1 year prior drive thru barista experience and/or earned over time by being reliable, taking charge of tasks, keeping a clean space and providing great drinks and service! Teamwork and willingness to help with shift coverage is required! We do our best to provide a flexible schedule, but it goes both ways :-)
