This position requires a strategic thinker with hands-on technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities
Project Leadership and Technical Oversight:
- Lead technical teams in configuring, deploying, and validating retail technology solutions across multiple projects
- Oversee installation, testing, and quality assurance for new content, firmware, and device configurations
- Develop and implement best practices for technical execution, ensuring high standards of reliability and performance
- Coordinate rapid-response teams to resolve post-deployment issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring client satisfaction
- Manage travel schedules and resource allocation for field support, including urgent site visits and international deployments
- Serve as the escalation point for complex technical challenges, leveraging expertise to deliver lasting solutions
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, installation guides, and troubleshooting manuals
- Standardized processes for warehouse and third-party installation teams, ensuring consistency and clarity
- Continuously improve support materials and reference guides for internal and external teams
- Collaborate with developers in Miami and teams in Union City and Chicago to align technical approaches
- Partner with developers, production teams, and stakeholders in Miami, Union City, Chicago, and China to align technical strategies
- Facilitate technical discussions, drive problem-solving initiatives, and contribute to multidisciplinary project planning
- Evaluate technical feasibility and recommend solutions for project challenges
- Proven technical aptitude with a broad understanding of hardware, software, and content platforms
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing technical teams and complex projects
- Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues independently
- Strong learning agility and adaptability across diverse technical domains
- Excellent communication skills, able to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable in dynamic, high-pressure environments
- Based in Chicago, IL, with teams distributed across multiple time zones
- Ability to travel up to 30% to client offices, Outform locations (Union City, CA; Miami, FL), and retail sites; international travel to China may be required
- Must participate in weekly calls with global technical and production teams
