ADON/Assistant Director of Nursing

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced ADON/Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team at Grants Wellness & Rehabilitation in Grants, New Mexico. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding care to patients and ensure that their needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies, and state, federal, and local guidelines
• Follow established procedure for charting and incident reporting
• Experience in treating wounds/woundcare and utilizing the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs
• Document any change in patient's conditions and notify applicable departments of any patient's room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges
• Make rounds with physicians when necessary
• Follow company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Current LVN/LPN license in practicing state
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one
• Experience in nursing management is preferred but not required
