As a Charge Nurse (RN or LPN), you will oversee nursing care on your assigned unit, ensuring safe, high-quality care for residents while supporting CNAs and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. You’ll play a key leadership role in daily operations and resident outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide and oversee direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders and care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely
- Monitor, document, and report changes in resident condition
- Supervise and support nursing assistants
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
- Participate in care conferences, rounds, admissions, and discharges
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Active RN or LPN license in the state of Missouri
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred, but not required
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
