What are the responsibilities and job description for the Travel Content Creator position at Outercamp?
Travel Content Creator — Summer 2026
Outercamp | McDowell County, NC | May–August 2026
$1,200–$1,500 summer stipend | All travel costs covered | Academic credit available
---
Spend your summer filming waterfalls, mountain towns, and hidden gems across North Carolina — and get paid for it.
Outercamp is a glamping company based in the Blue Ridge Mountains. We help people slow down, get outside, and experience North Carolina in a way most people never do. This summer, we're hiring a Travel Content Creator to hit the road and document it.
You'll work directly with Outercamp's co-founder on a brand that's already driven $200k in revenue and 500 five-star reviews. This isn't an "assist with social media" role. You'll own the content, plan the shoots, and see your work go live to a growing audience.
Outercamp's content has reached hundreds of thousands of people across Instagram and TikTok — your work will too.
Academic credit is encouraged. We'll work with your school to get this approved as a formal internship — typically worth 3 credits.
