Key Responsibilities
- Implementation & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end Oracle Cloud Fixed Assets implementations for public sector clients, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and go-live support.
- Manage the full fixed asset lifecycle: asset additions, transfers, retirements, depreciation, and period-close processes.
- Configure Oracle Cloud Financials modules (Fixed Assets, Subledger Accounting) aligned with client-specific requirements and government accounting standards (GASB, OMB Circular A-123).
- Develop functional design documents (FDD), solution design documents (SDD), and configuration workbooks.
- Execute SIT, UAT, and support cutover activities including data migration via FBDI/ADF DI.
Client Engagement
- Act as primary point of contact for the Fixed Assets workstream, managing client relationships and stakeholder communications.
- Conduct workshops and working sessions with government agency finance and IT teams.
- Translate complex federal and state regulatory requirements into Oracle Cloud technical solutions.
- Provide post-go-live hypercare support and knowledge transfer to client teams.
- Team Leadership
- Mentor and guide junior functional consultants on the project team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional workstreams including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Procurement, and Projects.
- Contribute to Oracle's practice development through reusable assets, accelerators, and internal knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of overall Oracle Financials experience, with a strong focus on Oracle Cloud Fixed Assets.
- Demonstrated experience delivering Oracle Cloud implementations for U.S. federal, state, or local government clients.
- Strong knowledge of government accounting standards including GASB, OMB Circular A-123, and federal asset management policies.
- Proven ability to lead functional workstreams independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience with data migration strategies and tools for asset conversion (FBDI, ADF DI).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to present to senior government officials.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Cloud Financials certification (Fixed Assets or Financials Implementation Specialist).
- Experience with Oracle Projects Costing or Property Manager in a public sector context.
- Familiarity with federal procurement and asset tracking regulations (FAR, DFARS).
- Prior experience at a Big 4 or national consulting firm serving government clients.
- Active government security clearance (Secret or above).
- Experience with Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
