Senior Data and BI Analyst

Job Summary

The Senior Data and Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst works closely with stakeholders across functions to help with data reporting and analysis to support strategic initiatives that boost revenue, drive operational intelligence, and improve efficiency for continuous growth. Supports the management of the Enterprise applications and the data produced through governance, analysis, and reporting. There will be a strong emphasis on proper documentation, quality of data, and reporting on activity metrics (KPIs) and performance. The analyst works cross functionally with team members to advance the strategic analysis needed to drive business decisions and performance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Create daily, weekly, monthly reporting to support multiple business units and executive level intelligence of the business
• Work with functional leaders to identify sources of required data and develop processes to extract information to analyze performance and provide summary results and identify opportunity for improvements
• Identify, assemble, analyze, and track metrics and derive/communicate insights
• Support technology-related project efforts to improve operational and reporting efficiency, support data operations initiatives and enhance business processes
• Update KPI's and other reports to help business leaders make informed strategic decisions
• Support management and proper documentation within the company’s technology business systems: CRM, ERP, etc.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed
  
  

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE & REQUIREMENTS

• Distinctive analysis skills, ability to use quantitative analysis to derive at qualitative insights
• Demonstrates ability to determine and manage, time, and scope of concurrent projects and priorities
• Experience with Salesforce and similar CRM platform capabilities
• Experience with Netsuite or similar CRM/ERP systems
• Experience with SQL and ETL processes and technologies
• Familiarity with best practices in dashboard and metrics/KPI reporting
• Must have experience developing reports in business intelligence applications (Looker, Sigma)
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (including strong knowledge of excel)
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle the pressure of meeting tight deadlines and adapt to rapidly changing priorities
  
  

Education & Experience Requirements

• Minimum years of work experience: 5 years
• Minimum level of education or education/experience: Bachelors or equivalent work experience
