Job Overview
The Outagamie Waupaca Library System (OWLS) seeks a part-time office assistant to perform a variety of tasks including sorting, labeling, packing, unpacking, and distributing library materials being prepared for delivery. This position performs regular office cleaning tasks and assists with print shop, bindery and clerical work. The office assistant will work on-site supporting remote staff and collaborating to provide outstanding service to libraries throughout northeast Wisconsin.
Requirements
Job requirements include the ability to lift 50 pounds, to push 4-wheeled carts loaded with tubs full of library materials, and a physical tolerance for repetitive tasks. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to follow procedures; organize and process details accurately; employ good interpersonal skills; and communicate effectively over the phone. Preference may be given to individuals with experience working in a public library setting. High school diploma preferred.
Environment
Work with a small staff in a friendly office environment in Grand Chute near FVTC. The position is 15 hours per week, scheduled 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm, M-F.
