Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within our facilities. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all employees and visitors.

• 2 x week clean
• 1 hour per clean
• No floor work
• No initial clean

Pay Rate

• $13/hr
• $26/week
• $56.29 bi-weekly
• $112.58/month

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to ensure all areas are clean and well-maintained.
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, and waxing as needed to keep surfaces in optimal condition.
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and ensuring sanitary conditions.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
• Carry out industrial cleaning duties in designated areas, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests and emergencies as they arise.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high standards of cleanliness across the facility.

Skills

• Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance of various flooring types.
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
• Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
• A proactive attitude towards maintaining a clean environment for both staff and visitors.
