Responsibilities

• Perform live music at church, while adapting your style to suit different audiences and venues
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and fellow musicians to develop cohesive performances that align with artistic visions
• Rehearse regularly to perfect arrangements, timing, and stage presence for upcoming performances
• Maintain and tune your instruments or equipment to ensure optimal sound quality during performances
• Assist in setting up sound equipment, microphones, and stage arrangements as needed for various events
• Participate in promotional activities such as community outreach to engage audiences and promote performances
• Stay current with musical trends and continuously refine your skills through practice and professional development

Qualifications

• Proven experience performing as a musician in live or studio settings
• Ability to read sheet music and interpret musical arrangements accurately
• Experience working within church-based environments is highly desirable
• Strong sense of timing, rhythm, and pitch with excellent stage presence
• Flexibility to adapt to different styles and performance styles
• Knowledge of sound equipment operation is a plus but not required
